Empowering South Carolina's Postal Leaders

UPMA South Carolina represents the Postmasters, Managers, and Supervisors who run this state's post offices — from the smallest rural office to the busiest plant floor. When something lands on your desk that you shouldn't have to handle alone, we're who you call.

Members,

I'll be sitting down with the District Manager for our next quarterly meeting, and I want to walk in carrying your voice, not just my own.

So tell me: what's been hard lately? What's the thing you're carrying that nobody at the district level seems to see? Short offices, no coverage, leave you can't take, a building that needs attention, guidance that keeps changing under you — whatever it is, I want to hear it.

I put together a short survey. It takes about five minutes, most of it is just clicking, and you can leave your name off it entirely if you'd rather.

Here's why it matters that you fill it out: one postmaster raising a problem is a complaint. Fifteen of us raising the same problem is a pattern, and patterns get answers. We're stronger speaking together than any of us are alone, and I can only speak for you if you tell me what to say.

Don't wait for me to ask again — I'm keeping a running list, so send things as they come up. Once the meeting is on the books I'll let everyone know, share the agenda I'm bringing so you can see your concerns on it, and report back afterward on what was said and what we're holding them to.

Thank you for what you do out there. It doesn't go unnoticed.
